CLASS EXPERIENCE DEPOSIT: Happy Hour ~ The Famous Beverage Experience

Your $50 ticket is a DEPOSIT towards your final piece! 

Here at the Glass Academy, we know the importance of an idea and the connection it has with its creator. That’s why we are proud to welcome you into our space to share your ideas with us! Relax, have a beverage, enjoy yourself, and trust us to bring your idea to life in a beautiful piece of drinkware.

Your $50.00 ticket price is a deposit that will go towards the item you and our team design. Custom work comes with custom prices ~ the majority of customs will fall in the $150.00 - $200.00 price range.

Examples of what you can design during a Happy Hour include: Rocks Glasses, Mugs, Wine Glasses, Goblets, Champagne Flutes, Tumblers etc.

You will design the basics: size (ounces), shape, colors, patterns & designs in the glass, and the handle/foot/stem/base of the glass. You will also have the option to upgrade your drinkware to a set of two, have your products shipped, and pick the artist's brain for their suggestions and favorite popular styles!

Need help deciding where to begin your design? Don’t worry, we have a large gallery full of one-of-a-kind work you can’t find on our website to use as inspiration. Our team of glass blowers love to work with you to create something you will love!

A fully booked Happy Hour typically runs for 3 hours (each piece taking ~ 30 - 40 minutes to complete,) but timing will vary depending on the number of tickets sold and detail level of the items being made. You are more than welcome to stay and watch everyone's creations be made. If you have a strict timeline, we ask that you please let your host and glass blowers know at your arrival so we can plan accordingly.

We offer a $12 guest ticket which must be purchased if you'd like to bring a guest to watch your class, or if you don't want to make a product, but would like to watch the class from the "audience".  Everyone in attendance MUST purchase either a class ticket or a guest ticket. This allows us to prepare the space accordingly. When purchasing a guest ticket, please put the desired class date and time in the notes.

If you are purchasing additional tickets, or buying this as a gift - after placing your deposit, we suggest purchasing a $100 gift card per person, which will cover the vast majority of design options! RULES & WHAT TO EXPECT

• B.Y.O.B. is an option! We have a selection of soft drinks available for purchase in the studio, but you are welcome to bring your own beverages and snacks.
• Closed-toed shoes are required and we suggest that you wear cotton, as it will be hot in the shop.
• Please arrive 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork, meet the other students, and browse the gallery.
• Before you can take your beautiful glass creation home, it must cool from 1200°F to room temperature. Once completely cooled, your glass keepsake is ready for pickup from our studio OR we offer free shipping directly to your home if you live in the United States.

• A behind-the-scenes tour of our glass studio and Batch Gallery to educate you on the many styles and shapes of glassware that can be made during your class. During the tour, you may draw inspiration for your design from styles and samples showcased in the gallery. Our talented staff can assist you with suggestions and upgrades to make your glass drinkware truly unique and original to you!
• A coupon for 20% off all items in our gallery. This coupon can only be used on the day of your class or the day when you pick up your class product (if you choose to pick up your finished product in-person).
